After graduation, she worked as an associate in a large group practice while taking continuing education courses in implantology, pediatric dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Once she purchased her practice in 2020, and had children of her own, she became fascinated with infant frenectomies and airway dentistry. She has spent the last 2 years studying her craft, and has taken courses from leading experts in the field including Dr. Richard Baxter, Dr. Soroush Zaghi, Dr. Jared Poplin, and Dr. Erin Elliot. Dr. Hubbard works with many other professionals in our area including myofunctional therapists, ENTs, IBCLCs, and speech language pathologists to help ensure patients have the best outcomes from their procedures. Dr. Hubbard is passionate about functional dentistry, and getting to the root cause of problems to help ensure patients don’t just “get-by”, but truly thrive.
Dr. Hubbard is involved in many “extra-circular” dental activities including being a Regional Leader for the North and South Carolina region of the Mommy Dentists in Business, she is the Vice President of the North Carolina Chapter for the American Association of Women Dentists, a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association, and the Sandhills Dental Study Club.
In her free time, Dr. Hubbard enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, crafting, and reading. While she doesn’t travel as often as she did before kids, she does enjoy a good vacation. Her favorite place she has traveled to is Iceland, but traveling to India for a friend’s wedding is a close second. Dr. Hubbard has 3 boys: Beckett, Wells, and Porter, and has been married to her husband, Shane for 8 years. She also has a rescue dog, Emory, to round out the crew.
